This was yet another phenomenal year for the Safaricom Foundation. As always, the demand for our support was high – pointing to the reality that as corporates we still have a valuable and important role to play in our societies, to ensure that our success is shared.
The insights in the stories here represent almost 900,000 lives that we have touched this year in health, education, economic empowerment and through charitable giving.

For the last fifteen years the Safaricom Foundation has been a part of my life. I have seen it grow from an idea on how best we can support Kenyans all over this country, to a robust institution that is a partner of note to the government, to other philanthropic institutions and most importantly to every day Kenyans.
We weren’t supporting communities to build our “mother” brand, but rather we were doing it to support needs – to see the unseen, to ensure that no Kenyan was left behind.
